The Pathways to Employment: Supporting Autistic Youth in Overcoming Employment Barriers (PTE) project was created to address the need to improve the labour market inclusion of autistic young people across Europe. Employment rates among autistic individuals remain extremely low (around 10%) and are often limited to part-time, low-skilled, and poorly paid positions. In line with the European Pillar of Social Rights, which promotes equal opportunities in access to employment, the project seeks to overcome the barriers that hinder the employability of autistic youth through an innovative and multidisciplinary approach.
