AI VET

AI-VET is a European project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme that aims to strengthen young people’s digital skills and employability through the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Vocational Education and Training (VET).

The project seeks to transform vocational education and training centres into innovative learning environments closely aligned with the real needs of the labour market. Through transnational cooperation between Malta, Cyprus and Italy, AI-VET promotes new learning methodologies, fosters creativity, and encourages the active participation of learners and trainers in the digital transformation process.

• Enhance the digital transformation of vocational education and training by introducing AI-based content, tools and learning approaches.
• Align VET programmes with labour market needs by identifying digital skills gaps and anticipating emerging professional profiles and future workforce demands.
• Increase the attractiveness of vocational education and training among young people, particularly NEETs (young people not in employment, education or training), by showcasing the career opportunities offered by AI and the digital economy.
• Promote collaboration between educational institutions, businesses and technology-sector stakeholders to improve youth employability and strengthen digital resilience.
